HardHeaderz is not your traditional label.
It engulfs itself in putting out music with a message and substance to be devoured by an audience. The name of HardHeaderz stemmed from a personal virtue of Far I; stubbornness and persistence. As the stubbornness accumulates, swimming against the stream is a must. The rawness of the music and the notion of refusing the traditional norms of the industry is what makes up the virtue of HardHeaderz.
- Introducing the family of HardHeaderz; Far I, an English rapping stubborn Hardheader that is not convinced in following the traditional norms of the day and age. He defines himself as a conceptual artist. With using his eye for patterns, his music encircles hip-hop with no concessions, but in its purest form and raw edge.

- Over time the family of HardHeaderz grew with Rotterdam-based artists; WatWatIs, comprising of Yellow, Ruwhel and the home DJ of HardHeaderz Dj Jonchi. With their own generated genre; “Conscious Trap”, WatWatIs passes on a message that is always relatable through their experiences and life lessons.

- However, the family did not stop growing there, in comes Kevtendencies, a Rotterdam rapper with the soul of old-school hip-hop but with a new age twist. His music is expressed as “New Age Boom Bap”, the combination of sentimentality towards the sound of old-school with fresh sounds of the now. Kevtendencies is also working on a cinematic universe for the listeners to come back to.

- Although the family grew with all three artists, that did not stop HardHeaderz with adopting a fourth child, the custody is final and they welcomed STEEV into the family of HardHeaded creatives. His music combines the body, soul and mind. Each aspect comprises of the awareness of music, the emotions that comes along and the knowledge that accompanies each project and song he makes. He highlights the ruggedness of hip-hop with the spirituality that manufactures it.

Girls to the front, boys to the back.
Since the origin of popular music in the fifties, the music industry has very much been a boys’ club. It were the men shaking their hips provocatively on stage through the early years of rock ‘n roll. It were the men running the labels when rock became hard and punk became wild. It were the men writing the album reviews when new wave made everyone want to look as depressed like Morrissey. It were the men moshing away when it was socially acceptable to punch your best friend a black eye on music. Throughout the history of rock music, you boys set the tone.
You’re probably tired, aren’t you?
Let the girls take over.
